First Impression Review: Shawill Photosensitive Nourish Foundation in 04- Vogue Noble Line

Hey Loves!

So today, I will be blogging about my first impression review about this Shawill Foundation in 04 from their Vogue Noble Line. If you have read one of my previous posts, I reviewed their orange blush in 04 also from their Vogue Noble Line. This time, I will be doing a first impression review about their foundation.

I have had this foundation for about 2 weeks now but never actually opened it yet since I purchased it since I have been focusing on blushes on my previous posts. As promised, I will be doing a face product this time. :)

So anyway, as the photo posted above this is how the packaging looks like. It is actually made of plastic and its just a simple white one with the brand and name of what type of product it is and the cap/ cover is just a black one.

Here is what it looks like with its box packaging:

The box is actually like the box of their blushes which I have reviewed before and you can check it out here

Its Claims:
Contain several vitamins and vegetal extract as well as unique shining particle, the product can moisturize skin and make skin firm and shining. Fine powder, perfectly conceal pores and fade uneven tone, keep the makeup natural and thin.

MakeUp Results: Colour lasts for up to 8 hours. Suitable for sensitive skin. Fragrance free and won't clog pores. Looks natural

Ingredients:

Talc, Mica, Magnisium, Stearate, Fragrance, SiO, Kaolin, Dimethicone, Methyldibromo Glutaronitrile, Phenoxyethanol, Iron Oxide Black, Iron Oxide Red, Iron Oxide Brown, Iron Oxide Yellow, Titanium Dioxide

Actually, I am surprised that it doesn't contain MethylParaben and PropylParaben

Price: Php 138.00

Net Wt. 35mL

So on with its consistency:

Once you put a general amount of the product, it does not have thick consistency and is actually a bit liquid-y (if there's such a term).

Actually when I bought this product, the saleslady told me that this is only available in one shade which is the one in Number 04.

On with the application. With my clean face, I didn't apply any primer but just my trusty Celeteque Facial Moisturizer.

If you can notice, it is actually a bit lighter on my face because of the lighting but when in looking in the mirror, it actually looks fine. Idk why my camera is doing this to my face. LOL.

Anyway, I am not sure if you can notice on the photo above, it has a bit dewy and liquid-y finish just like a BB Cream finish. It does feel lightweight though but when I touch my face, it feels like its so moist like I just finished washing my face with water. What I like about it though is that with only one layer of this foundation, it was able to give medium coverage and was able to cover the visible veins in my face.

And this is the finish after I set it with a setting powder. I used my Nichido Setting Powder in the shade True Natural. Because of the setting powder, it was finally able to give my the matte finish I want.

Note: I applied this on my face at 4:45pm to test the longevity of this product. Note that the only makeup I applied on my face aside from my facial moisturizer are my eyebrow pencil, my Nichido blush in the shade Tomato and my Aido lipstick in the shade letter Q.

So I also tested the longevity of this product. I didn't go anywhere today so basically I tested the longevity of this product without any sunlight since I applied this already in the late afternoon. I didn't do much the whole time I had this foundation on so I didn't perspire or anything.

However, after almost 2 hours- Exact time is 6:20pm, I already checked how this foundation was doing on my face.

I didn't retouch with any powder nor did I blot on this. If you can notice, my T-zone already started to oil up and the veins in my cheeks already started to get visible again. Also, when I put my palms on my face, there is already that sticky feeling. Good thing though is that the blush is still on my cheeks.

What I like:
- Very affordable: Php 138.00 for 35mL of the product.
- Available in SM Department Stores- Beauty Department, Watsons, Landmark and other department stores- beauty department where there are Shawill counters nationwide.
- It does have medium coverage on the first coat of the foundation I put on my face and was able to cover the visible veins on my cheeks.
- Packaging is small so it can easily fit in your makeup kit.
- It feels very lightweight on the skin like you aren't wearing any foundation.
- According to the ingredients in the packaging, it doesn't contain PropylParaben and MethylParaben.
- It also states in the packaging the expiry date of this product.

What I don't like:
- I don't like the packaging, looks like deodorant at first glance.
- It doesn't stand true on its claims that this will last on your face for 8 hours since my skin started to oil up and the veins already started showing on my cheeks.
- Feels sticky on the face after 2-3hours from application.

REPURCHASE: NO
Honestly, this didn't reach my expectations. I do have a few Shawill products in my collection and I can honestly say that I have liked them all especially their BB Cream which I have done a review on and have been one of my all time favorite BB Creams which you can also read here
Honestly, I am a bit disappointed with this product.

Note though that we all have different skin types and that this didn't work for me but may work for others.

So there you have it, I hope this blog post has been informative and may help you if you are also on the hunt for affordable, local and drugstore foundations and face product.
