Review: Shawill BB Cream In The Shade 02

Hey Loves!

So today, this is about a review of one of my most favorite BB Creams which is the Shawill Natural-Looking Blemish Balm- Dream of A Line or what is usually known as the BB Cream. I apologize though if I won't be able to show you the box of this product as I've had this for a couple of months already way before I started this blog. Honestly, this is already my 3rd tube of this product so imagine how much I love this. :) So what I did instead is I searched a photo of this product in Google that includes the box:

Long before I preferred using foundation, I only relied to BB Creams since I felt it was way milder and had more coverage and that it has everything already: from SPF to good coverage without the need for concealer. Quite honestly, I discovered this product early last year when I was just looking for an affordable BB Cream to use for everyday whenever I was going to work. I bought my first tube of this product then and instantly fell inlove with it especially that for its price, it does have very good coverage. I am not a concealer person, so as much as possible, I don't use concealer unless I see the very need to do it. In addition to that, it was also the time that I preferred BB Creams over foundation, and if I'm not mistaken, I didn't own any liquid or cake foundations except one which was the Revlon cake foundation which was given to me as a gift.

Anyway, on with the review.

Its claims:

- It has SPF 25
- It helps to shield/ protect and regenerate skin. It covers dark rings, acne marks, uneven skin tone naturally, giving your skin a natural glow.

Net Wt.1.50 FL.OZ./ 45ML

Price: Php 168.00 - very affordable, right? For this amount, you get 45mL of the product.

Once you open the tube, this is how it looks like. It does come in a squeeze tube with a spout on it. Be careful though when you squeeze it because it does have a tendency to produce a lot of the product  than you actually need.

Once you squeeze the product, it is not watery, and the consistency of the product is very thick, which I like:

For this product, a little goes a long way, so be careful when squeezing out the product. In the photo I will be showing below, this is how it looks like when I already applied it on my face. Please note that I didn't use any primers before applying this, I only applied my Celeteque Facial Moisturizer.

If you notice, it does have a dewy finish, but not so dewy that your face will already look oily. However, what I really love about this product is that for only one layer of application, it does have a medium coverage. If you would notice in the picture shown below, for only one layer of this product applied, it was already able to cover my veins in my cheeks.

So of course, what I do is after applying this product, I use a powder to set the BB Cream on my face. This time I used my Nichido Setting Powder in the shade True Natural. After setting it with powder, this is how it looks like on my face, I always make sure that it gives me a matte finish.

In this photo, I already applied my blush as well. I used my Maybelline Cheeky Glow blush which I am also currently loving since it gives that natural blush look like you're not wearing any makeup or blush at all, and my Aido Lipstick in Number 05.

Longevity: It lasts me for about 4-5hours without having to blot or retouch as long as I set it with powder; also lasts me a lot longer when I use a primer before applying this product on my face.

What I Like:

- It has SPF 25
- It really evens out my skin tone
- Though the product has thick consistency, it is very lightweight on the skin and it feels like you're not wearing any BB cream.
- It is very affordable: Php 168.00 only and you get 45ML of the product.
- It comes in a squeezable tube.
- Has medium to heavy coverage.
- Longevity is good: lasts me for 4-5 hours without blotting or retouching.
- Available in all Shawill Counters especially in SM Department Stores-Beauty Department and in Watsons, and as well as in Robinsons Department Stores- Beauty Section and in Metro Department Stores- Beauty Department Stores in Shawill counters.
- I find the packaging cute especially the box which has some glitters and shimmer to it which reflects when light touches it. Hehe!

What I don't like:

- You have to be careful when squeezing out the product, otherwise it will produce too much product than what you need.
- They have limited shades, if I'm not mistaken, they only have 3. 01 being the lightest and 03 being the darkest.
- If you store the tube upside down (the tube opening at the bottom like it is supposed to be), once you open it, it can be a mess since product has spilled already.

REPURCHASE: YES!!
Like I said earlier, this is my 3rd tube of this product. Though I am now using foundation whenever I go out for work, whenever I am just going to the mall and prefer light makeup with good coverage, this is what I use since there are times that when I am just going to the nearby mall to buy something or to run some errands, I don't bring my whole makeup kit with me, just my Maybelline 2-way foundation powder and a lipstick. :)

I highly recommend  this product to those who are into and those who prefer BB Creams over foundation. Also, to those who are in a budget but wants good coverage. :)

So there you have it, I hope I was able to give you the information you need especially if you are in the hunt for a good BB Cream which is affordable and without sacrificing quality. :)
