Review: Allue Blush Duo in Peach Pie

Hey Loves!

So today I will be talking about another HBC product which is the Allue Blush Duo in Peachy Pie. HBC is one beauty store that offers a wide variety of beauty products and this is also where you can buy San San Products. Anyway, if I'm not mistaken Allue is the brand of HBC which are specially designed for teenage girls who are starting to learn and to love makeup. Back in college, I have already experienced purchasing and using one of their Allue blushes. Since I was a student back then, I don't have the luxury of buying high end drugstore or even the really high end ones except of course if I ask my parents to buy it for me. LOL. So anyway, I can really say that Allue is designed for teenage and working girls alike who are looking for affordable yet good quality of makeup products.

I actually bought this the same time I bought the San San BB Cream which I featured in my last post which you can also read about here. I was there and if you have been following me in Instagram or have been reading my last posts, you will know that I am kinda addicted to blushes at the moment and this is one of those blushes that are part of my collection.

Anyway, on with the review, the packaging of this one is made of kinda thin plastic so you really have to be careful in handling this because when you actually hold this in your hand, it is very light and fragile so dropping this may be the end of this product. What I like though is that it already has a blush brush included which for me is just a right size for travelling and can actually do the job of applying the blush on your cheeks. I have other blushes which includes a blush brush as well but is so tiny it's not gonna serve its purpose; but for this one, I think it's just the right travel-sized brush.

So when you open the cover, this is how the product looks like:

It has 2 shades of blushes and the brush. And at the back you will see the shade of this and at the same time ingredients, net weight, and manufacturer.

Okay, so on with the swatches for the blush:

Pigmentation is okay for me. Like I said earlier, this brand is actually designed for teenage girls and those who are just starting to learn how to use makeup so this is really good for starters. Personally though, I like the pigmentation more of the second shade which is shown in the swatches above as it looks just like a natural blush. What I can do though about the first shade is that I think I can use this as a highlighter because of how light and shimmery it is. It will give that rosy highlight if you're going to use that as a highlighter at the top of your cheekbones

What I like:
- Very affordable: Php 75.00 only
- Available in all HBC branches nationwide.
- Pigmentation is good especially for makeup starters
- Packaging is thin and can easily fit in your makeup kit.
- I like the brush, though tiny, I think it's still functionable.
- Since packaging is transparent, you can easily see the shade of the blushes.
- When I bought this in HBC Alabang, they don't have a tester for this, therefore when I purchased this, I had to just rely on the shades that are visible in the plastic packaging.
- They also have a variety of shades and even single blushes which are in a cute cardboard packaging in affordable prices as well.

What I don't like:
- Packaging is made of thin plastic therefore it is fragile and may easily break if you drop it. Therefore, handle with care. :)
- Does not have at least a tiny mirror in it.

REPURCHASE: YES.
I mean why not? For its price, I think it's worth it especially for students and those who are just starting to learn how to do their makeup and those who are in a budget. Like I said, I've used Allue blushes back when I was in college so technically, this is already a repurchase for me. In addition to that, even though I won't be able to use the first shade as a blush itself, I think it can be a great alternative for a highlighter. :)

So that's it for now. I hope I was able to give you information about this especially those who are makeup starters. If you have tried and or have this blush, feel free to comment down below your experiences with it or you can also comment down if there are any makeup products you would like me to review. :)
