Hey Loves!
Today I will be posting another first impression review on the San San BB Cream in Natural. Honestly, I've had this for quite awhile now but never got to use it yet until now since I have other BB Creams and liquid foundations that I have been using. I apologize though if I don't have the box of this anymore as the day that I bought this BB Cream, I immediately threw away the box and kept this straight in my makeup drawer and haven't used it until now.
I actually bought this in their HBC branch beside Alabang South Station for only Php180. I wanted to have a variety of BB Creams and liquid foundations in my collection and I have learned from our Pinay YouTubers and bloggers as well that San San is one affordable HBC product that has good quality. There isn't any HBC branches near the place where I lived so when I was in Alabang and saw that there is an HBC branch available there i immediately entered their store to get my hands on some San San products and this is one of them.
Anyway, on with the review. This BB Cream is in a plastic tube packaging with a pump and a cover at its end which I really liked. At least you will be able to control the product that you will be using since the pump works well. I also like the fact that the pump has a cover on it so at least, it will keep the pump clean and avoid any product from spilling if you're gonna put this in your bag especially when you're travelling.
Its Claims:
It has Squalene, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamins A, C and E, has SPF 43
Lightens dark spots, nourishes skin, protects Skin from sun damage, with antioxidant
Ingredients:
Squalene, Titanium Dioxide, Euphorbia cerifera (Candelilla Wax), Methylsilsesquioxane, Boron Nitrade, Beeswax, Hyaluronic Acid, Benzophenone-3, Phenoxyethanol, Ubiquinone (Coenzyme Q10), Arbutin, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C), CI 77492, CI 77891, CI 77491, CI 77499
Caution:
Avoid too much sun exposure even while using a product with sunscreen. For external use only.
Price: Php 180.00
Net Wt. 1.01 fl.oz/ 30mL
Okay, so on with the product itself. Once I put a considerable amount in the back of my hand, you will notice that it really does have thick consistency. Also, it shows that though this is in the shade natural, which is their second to the lightest shade, it looks like it's a little bit darker than my skin tone.
I am a bit fair skinned that's why whenever I buy a face product, I either get the lightest or the second to the lightest shade. Anyway, with this, I was worried at first as this may actually appear darker on me, but when I've finally applied it to my face, it was just right for the skin tone. What I also noticed is it also gives medium- heavy coverage. In the photos below, you will see that it does have medium coverage and I only applied one coat of the product on my face, it was already able to coverage the visible veins on my cheeks. I also noticed that it dries really fast so if you will be applying this on your face you really have to do it fast as it dries easily on the face making it hard for you to blend. On the other hand, it really feels lightweight on the skin like you're not wearing and BB cream or foundation on your face.
And this is how it looks like with setting powder. Though this BB Cream, unlike other BB Creams has a more semi- matte finish, I still decided to use a setting powder. I used my Nichido Final Powder in So Natural right after I applied my blush which is the Creamy Cinnamon from Sassy Colors and my Aido lipstick in the shade Letter Q.
Note: Please be informed that I applied this BB Cream without any primer. Just my Celeteque Facial Moisturizer, then my brow pencil for my brows, blush, lipstick and my Nichido Final Powder in So Natural as my setting powder.
Also note that I applied this product on my face at exactly 6:47pm MNL time. I was at home all day but was busy the whole evening with chores and in fixing my room. I don't easily perspire but still, since I have combination skin, my T-zone tends to be oily after a few hours.
Okay, so at exactly 09:08 pm MNL time- almost 3hours from time of application, this is how it my face looks like:
It does show that my face is a tiny bit shiny already but when I touch my T-zone especially my nose area, it is not that oily than it usually is so I was really surprised about it, in a good way of course. :)
What I like:
-Very affordable: only Php 180.00
-Packaging is good: it already has a pump at the bottom with a cap/cover to it and it's not the bulky so putting it in your makeup kit won't be a hassle.
- Available nationwide in all HBC Branches.
- They have variety of shades that will suite your skin tone especially the saleslady in the HBC branch told me that the shades they have are especially designed for Filipina women.
- Has SPF 43
- Product is lightweight on the face.
- Has medium to heavy coverage- it was able to give me medium coverage after just one coat/ product application and was already able to cover my visible veins.
- Product has thick consistency.
- It's currently 10:42pm MNL- almost 4hours from time of application as I am typing this now and until now my face- especially my T-zone area is still not that oily that I still don't see the need to blot or even to retouch with powder.
What I don't like:
- Product dries so fast on your skin that you really need to be fast as well in applying it to get a smooth and even coverage.
- If you will be picking the right shade. Like the photo I posted above, the shade may actually appear darker once you put the product at the back of your hand to check if that's the right shade for you. Better make sure you swatch and blend it properly to get the right shade suitable for your skin tone.
- There aren't any HBC branches near within our area. So basically, if I want to repurchase this or to buy any other San San products, I have to either go to Alabang or to Ayala MRT station, which is actually quite far from where I live.
REPURCHASE: YES
I like the consistency of the product and the coverage it was able to give me and how it was able to keep my face matte for longer than I expected. For its price of Php 180.00, this product is totally worth it.
I hope I was able to give you the enough information especially if you're thinking about purchasing this product. Please know though that we all have different skin types. Anyway, feel free to comment down below your experience about this product if you have any or if you have any questions. :) You can also follow me in BlogLovin.com and in Instagram: @Yhang_Chua since I also keep my IG account updated with my future posts. :)

Nichido Loose Final Powder in So Natural
Hey Loves!
In addition to that, what I like about this is that, once you open the product after purchase, aside from the fact that it does have holes on it (I forgot what they call those holes in the product. Haha!), there is tape from the holes to make sure the product doesn't spill and ruin the powder puff included in it.
After using this product for a few times, I love this product already! :) I use this as my setting powder after applying my liquid foundation or my BB Cream and it does give me the really matte finish I always aim for. Also, it also makes my foundation/ BB Cream's matte look longer. For its price, it is really worth it! :)
Here is the swatch of the product by the way. It is translucent and matte.
What I like:
- Very affordable: Php 150.00 only
- Very Accesible: available in SM Department Stores- Beauty section and in other department stores- beauty section where there is a Nichido counter.
- Available in several shades to match your complexion.
- They have this product in matte and in shimmer powder.
- Very effective as setting powder as it makes my foundation last longer and the matte finish last longer as well.
- It does have holes on the packaging so you can control how much product you need without spilling the product.
- There is a powder puff included which is also has a soft texture and is not harsh on the face. (I just used the puff twice since when I use this as my setting powder for my foundation, I prefer using a powder brush for this.)
- Packaging is made of plastic: both the container itself and the cap/cover of it so you don't have to worry about breaking it.
- It is hypoallergenic.
What I don't like:
- None :) Honestly, I don't have anything negative to say about this since this is really working well for me. :)
REPURCHASE: Definitely YES!!!
I don't think though that I have to purchase another one of this anytime soon since it contains 25grams and you just need a little amount of product whenever you use this as a setting powder.
So that's it for now. Hope you like this one and was able to give you some information if you are also looking for affordable yet effective setting powders. :)
If you already have and been using this product, feel free to comment down below your experiences about this product and how this is working for you. :) To be updated for my future posts and future product reviews, you can follow me in BlogLovin.com and also in Instagram: @Yhang_Chua since I also keep my IG account updated with my new and updated posts. :)

NOTE: This is NOT a sponsored post. I purchased this product myself. Photos are mine unless stated otherwise.
I know most of you especially our beauty bloggers and our beauty YouTubers have this already but I just wanna share with you my thoughts on this product.
Quite honestly, I have been seeing this in the mall in the Nichido counters for years now but always ignored it. Thank you to our Pinay YouTubers and Pinay beauty bloggers that I was able to appreciate the existence of this product and how good this product is. :)
I apologize though if I won't be able to give out the specific claims and ingredients of this product as I don't already have the packaging or the box thing of this. I have this for quite some time now and I didn't even think of making a review about this since I know that there a lot of reviews about this already but decided to do it now since I also want to share with you how great this product is for me. :)
One of the things I do though is that whenever I purchase a makeup product is that I always take photos of the product in their original packaging so this is how it looks like when you purchase it from the Nichido Counter. I got mine in the shade So Natural by the way. This is basically their lightest shade of this.
Price: Php 150
Net Wt. 25grams/ 0.88oz
They actually have a lot of shades on this and their Final Powders also come in matte and shimmer. Of course, I picked up the matte ones.
Anyway, once you open the product, this is how it looks like. I love how simple the packaging is but for me it still looks classy. And once you open the product, it already includes a powder puff.
After using this product for a few times, I love this product already! :) I use this as my setting powder after applying my liquid foundation or my BB Cream and it does give me the really matte finish I always aim for. First Impression Review: Shawill Photosensitive Nourish Foundation in 04- Vogue Noble Line
Hey Loves!
So today, I will be blogging about my first impression review about this Shawill Foundation in 04 from their Vogue Noble Line. If you have read one of my previous posts, I reviewed their orange blush in 04 also from their Vogue Noble Line. This time, I will be doing a first impression review about their foundation.
I have had this foundation for about 2 weeks now but never actually opened it yet since I purchased it since I have been focusing on blushes on my previous posts. As promised, I will be doing a face product this time. :)
So anyway, as the photo posted above this is how the packaging looks like. It is actually made of plastic and its just a simple white one with the brand and name of what type of product it is and the cap/ cover is just a black one.
Here is what it looks like with its box packaging:
So I also tested the longevity of this product. I didn't go anywhere today so basically I tested the longevity of this product without any sunlight since I applied this already in the late afternoon. I didn't do much the whole time I had this foundation on so I didn't perspire or anything.
However, after almost 2 hours- Exact time is 6:20pm, I already checked how this foundation was doing on my face.
I didn't retouch with any powder nor did I blot on this. If you can notice, my T-zone already started to oil up and the veins in my cheeks already started to get visible again. Also, when I put my palms on my face, there is already that sticky feeling. Good thing though is that the blush is still on my cheeks.
What I like:
- Very affordable: Php 138.00 for 35mL of the product.
- Available in SM Department Stores- Beauty Department, Watsons, Landmark and other department stores- beauty department where there are Shawill counters nationwide.
- It does have medium coverage on the first coat of the foundation I put on my face and was able to cover the visible veins on my cheeks.
- Packaging is small so it can easily fit in your makeup kit.
- It feels very lightweight on the skin like you aren't wearing any foundation.
- According to the ingredients in the packaging, it doesn't contain PropylParaben and MethylParaben.
- It also states in the packaging the expiry date of this product.
What I don't like:
- I don't like the packaging, looks like deodorant at first glance.
- It doesn't stand true on its claims that this will last on your face for 8 hours since my skin started to oil up and the veins already started showing on my cheeks.
- Feels sticky on the face after 2-3hours from application.
REPURCHASE: NO
Honestly, this didn't reach my expectations. I do have a few Shawill products in my collection and I can honestly say that I have liked them all especially their BB Cream which I have done a review on and have been one of my all time favorite BB Creams which you can also read here.
Honestly, I am a bit disappointed with this product.
Note though that we all have different skin types and that this didn't work for me but may work for others.
So there you have it, I hope this blog post has been informative and may help you if you are also on the hunt for affordable, local and drugstore foundations and face product.
Feel free to comment down below if you have any questions or if you have any products you would like me to review. You can also follow me in BlogLovin.com or in Instagram: @Yhang_Chua since I also keep my IG account updated with my latest blog posts and reviews.

Here is what it looks like with its box packaging:
The box is actually like the box of their blushes which I have reviewed before and you can check it out here.
Its Claims:
Contain several vitamins and vegetal extract as well as unique shining particle, the product can moisturize skin and make skin firm and shining. Fine powder, perfectly conceal pores and fade uneven tone, keep the makeup natural and thin.
MakeUp Results: Colour lasts for up to 8 hours. Suitable for sensitive skin. Fragrance free and won't clog pores. Looks natural
Ingredients:
Talc, Mica, Magnisium, Stearate, Fragrance, SiO, Kaolin, Dimethicone, Methyldibromo Glutaronitrile, Phenoxyethanol, Iron Oxide Black, Iron Oxide Red, Iron Oxide Brown, Iron Oxide Yellow, Titanium Dioxide
Actually, I am surprised that it doesn't contain MethylParaben and PropylParaben
Price: Php 138.00
Net Wt. 35mL
So on with its consistency:
Once you put a general amount of the product, it does not have thick consistency and is actually a bit liquid-y (if there's such a term).
Actually when I bought this product, the saleslady told me that this is only available in one shade which is the one in Number 04.
On with the application. With my clean face, I didn't apply any primer but just my trusty Celeteque Facial Moisturizer.
If you can notice, it is actually a bit lighter on my face because of the lighting but when in looking in the mirror, it actually looks fine. Idk why my camera is doing this to my face. LOL.
Anyway, I am not sure if you can notice on the photo above, it has a bit dewy and liquid-y finish just like a BB Cream finish. It does feel lightweight though but when I touch my face, it feels like its so moist like I just finished washing my face with water. What I like about it though is that with only one layer of this foundation, it was able to give medium coverage and was able to cover the visible veins in my face.
And this is the finish after I set it with a setting powder. I used my Nichido Setting Powder in the shade True Natural. Because of the setting powder, it was finally able to give my the matte finish I want.
Note: I applied this on my face at 4:45pm to test the longevity of this product. Note that the only makeup I applied on my face aside from my facial moisturizer are my eyebrow pencil, my Nichido blush in the shade Tomato and my Aido lipstick in the shade letter Q.
However, after almost 2 hours- Exact time is 6:20pm, I already checked how this foundation was doing on my face.
I didn't retouch with any powder nor did I blot on this. If you can notice, my T-zone already started to oil up and the veins in my cheeks already started to get visible again. Review: LOL (Lots Of Love) Blush Duo in 01 Coral Blush
Hey Loves!
So today's post is about one of my favorite yet affordable blushes. If you have noticed for my recent posts, I have mostly blogged about blushes since I am currently being addicted to blushes lately. Haha! So this one is the LOL (Lots Of Love) Blush Duo which I got from the SM Department Store- Beauty Section and is also available in Watsons.
This is how the product looks like:
With all honesty, I don't own any high end makeup except for my YoungBlood Minerals palette which has two blushes, 4 shimmer eyeshadows and 4 cream lipsticks. Reason being is that way before I started this blog, I have always been on the hunt for drugstore makeup products that are affordable and almost has the same quality as those of the high end ones.
Moving on with the review, I bought this in SM Department Store for only Php139.00 and since they do have testers available in the LOL counter, I swatched this product and instantly liked the pigmentation of this. Aside from the fact that it is very affordable, pigmentation and longevity is very good. Like it does last me the whole day and even though there are times I needed to blot or retouch with powder or with my Maybelline 2-way cake foundation powder, the blush is still there. Also, if I am not mistaken this is an Australian brand and that this was made in Australia
Price: Php 139.00
Net Wt. 4grams
Ingredients:
Talc, Mica, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Polybutene, MethylParaben, PropylParaben, Parfum, CI 77891
May Contain: [+/-] CI 45410, CI 77491
The packaging is made of thin plastic, though it is sleek, that is why you have to be careful in handling this product as it may break easily. However, on how the packaging is designed, I like how the cover of it is transparent so you can easily see the product and it also includes a tiny blush brush. I am not sure though if this tiny brush can actually do its purpose of putting the blush right on your cheeks as like I said it is very tiny. I advise you use another blush brush when applying this or if you prefer to bring this with you in your makeup kit, it would be best to have a separate blush brush with you or even a retractable blush brush would do the job.
On with the swatches, as I mentioned earlier, pigmentation angd longevity is very good that it was able to last me a whole day even though I had to retouch with powder, there wasn't any need for me to retouch the blush.
I like this blush since it does look natural on the cheeks.
What I like:
- Very Affordable: Php 139.00 for 4grams of the product
- Available in selected SM Department Stores and Watsons
- Pigmentation and longevity is very good.
- Packaging is sleek and thin and can easily fit in your makeup kit.
What I don't like:
- Though packaging is sleek, it is made of thin plastic so you really have to be careful in handling this product to avoid it from breaking.
- Brush is very tiny and I don't think it does serve its purpose.
- Not available in all SM Department Stores- Beauty Section and in Watsons. (I bought this in SM Bicutan Deparment Store- Beauty Section) but is not available in the separate Watsons store in the same mall.
So that is it for now, I promise I will soon be posting reviews about face products like the latest BB Creams and foundation I have just recently purchased. :) I've just been really fond of blushes lately. :)

Review: Maybelline Blush Studio Cheeky Glow in Peachy Sweetie
Hey Loves!
Today, I will be blogging about one of my current favorite blushes which is the Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in Peachy Sweetie. If you have been reading my blog, I also included this in my October 2015 MakeUp and Skin Care Favorites which you can also read here.
Anyway, moving on, I have been eyeing this blush for quite some time now but never got to buying it since during that time it was at its original price of Php 199 and quite honestly the kuripot side of me found it quite expensive for its price for its size.
I passed by Mercury Drug one morning before going home (I used to work the night shift) to buy my parents' vitamins and some toiletries, when I was lining up on the cashier counter, I saw this blush there and saw that they have a Php50 permanent markdown which makes the price Php 149.00 only. Without second thoughts, I picked this up and paid for it. I was so excited to try it out that when I got home, first thing I did was to swatch it. Quite honestly, it is not that pigmented that you will look like a clown or you will look like Ronald McDonald with very red cheeks. Instead, what I liked about this is that it does give that natural blush and effect glow on your face since it does have shimmer in it.
Price: Php 149.00
Net Wt. 7grams
Its Claims:
Lightweight and silky smooth, Blush Studio Cheeky Glow blends flawlessly for our most natural finish.
Instructions/ How To Use:
Apply with fingers or brush. Softly Apply into cheeks. Suitable for everyday use.
Ingredients:
Talc, Dimethicone, Aluminum Starch OctenylSuccinate, Octyldodecyl, Stearoyl, Magnesium Stearate, Methicone, Phenoxethanol, Alumina, MethylParaben, Diethylhexyl, Syringylidenemalonate, Silica, BHT, Tocopheryl, Acetate, Lauroyl Lysine, (May contain Mica, CI 77891/ Titanium Dioxide, CI 16035/ Red 40 Lake).
So this is how the product looks like:
Though it appears very pink, the pigmentation is not that much which for the first time, really appealed to me because it does offer natural and glowing blush effect.
So anyway, just this past Sunday evening, I went out for dinner and coffee with friends, and I used this since I wanted my makeup look to look simple yet presentable and natural, and this is my simple makeup look where I used this blush:
If you notice my blush, it's just light and it does look natural. That is really why I love this product.
What I like:
- With the permanent markdown, it's more affordable with the price of Php 149.00
- Accesible: available in SM Department Stores- Beauty Department, Watsons, and even in Mercury Drug (this is where I purchased this product.)
- It does hold true to its claims of being blendable, lightweight with a silky smooth finish.
- It does have a natural looking finish.
- The packaging is cute and tiny which is easier for you to see the shade from it since the cover is transparent and the packaging itself is small and cute and can easily fit in your makeup kit.
- Longevity is very good. Since I've been using this more often than my other
blushes, it does last me the whole day, or in the case that I went out with friends just the past Sunday evening, it did last me the whole evening.
- Packaging is sleek and cute and you can easily put it inside your makeup kit.
- The cover is plastic but transparent so you can easily see the product and shade inside so you won't make a mistake in buying the shade that you like.
-It gives a natural blush finish and a little goes a long way.
What I don't like:
- For its price, it doesn't have a blush applicator/ blush brush included.
REPURCHASE: YES!!
I have been loving this blush lately and I have been using this a lot whenever I go out. In fact, for now, I tend to ignore my other blushes since I prefer using this one instead. :)
So that is all for now. How about you, how was your experience with this blush? And if there are any other products you would like me to review, feel free to comment down below or you can also DM and follow me in Instagram: Yhang_Chua for upcoming posts. :) You can also follow me in Bloglovin.com:)

Review: Shawill Blusher in 04 - Vogue Noble Edition
Hey Loves!
So today I will be posting about one of my new favorite blushes and this is one from Shawill. This is basically my second blush that I got from their brand, the first one is also an orange shade which is the one that costs Phhp 99.00 and is a smaller one compared to this one. Anyway, this shade is in the Number 04. I've been loving orange blushes lately that's why I decided to purchase this. Idk, because for me the orange shade blushes actually have this glowy look on the cheeks.
Aside from the fact that I love the pigmentation of this one ( I will be showing you a swatch of it really soon :), I also love the packaging. It's made of plastic and is in the color black with some gold in it.
Also, this is how the box of it looks like. It's simple with some silver linings on it but I still find it cute and classy.
I find it very simple but classy as well. Once you open the compact, you will see the blush itself.
And then at the bottom, once you lift this up, you will find the mirror and a small blush brush for application. I am very pleased with that since you can just bring this anywhere and everything you need is within this blush compact.
Honestly, I am really impressed with how Shawill is stepping up their game in terms of their makeup products and the wide selection they have but still maintain the affordability.I have checked with other local drugstore makeup brands and none of them have orange shade blushes available that is why I am happy with how Shawill has this very wide selection of shades and makeup products in affordable sizes.
Price: Php 138.00

What I like:
- Very affordable: Php 138.00
- Very accessible: Available in Shawill counters in SM Department Store- Beauty Department and in Watson.
- Packaging is very cute and classy.
- Pigmentation is very good.
- They have a wide variety of shades to choose from this makeup line (Vogue Noble Line)
- Longevity is very good. Lasts me a long day.
What I don't like:
- Packaging for all of their blush shades are all the same and the same as the sticker which states what number is for the specific shade is, so it can be confusing. I have to open the compact first to make sure I get the right shade I am buying.
REPURCHASE: YES!!
I will definitely purchase this once i run out this and I am considering purchasing more of their blushes. In fact, I am planning to complete all their blush products. (Blush addict here. LOL)
So there you have it, I hope you enjoyed reading this post and I was able to help you out if ever you are looking for this kind of blush shade and to check the quality of Shawill products. :)
