Hey Loves!
Welcome back to my blog!
So today will be about a collective skin care and makeup haul. The reason why this post is quite late is because I have been contemplating if I will be writing about it or just post a video on it so that it won't take too long for you to read.
So finally, I decided to just make a video for it. Some are actually repurchases and have done reviews on already and most of them I haven't. Unfortunately, since the video is quite long, it cannot be uploaded here. :( So for you to be able to watch it, I just decided to upload it in my YouTube channel. Please be informed though that I am not yet an official YouTuber, I basically just made an account in YouTube so as I can be updated and subscribed to my favorite beauty YouTubers. This time though, since I want you guys to see this haul and so as you will know what product reviews to expect in my following blogposts, I decided to upload it anyway. LOL I will be including the link in this post so you guys can watch it in my YouTube Channel. Feel free to subscribe and also to give that video a thumbs up if you want me to also be posting videos in YouTube for product reviews and makeup looks. :) Feel free to also follow me in Instagram: @Yhang_Chua to be updated with my upcoming blog posts. :)
So my Skin Care and Collective Haul is finally up in my YouTube Channel. Feel Free to click the link, watch the video, please don't forget to give it a thumbs up and subscribe. :)
The link for the YouTube Video for this is https://youtu.be/-4dxaaZRtCk
See you on my next post!

Review: Shawill Blusher in 04 - Vogue Noble Edition
Hey Loves!
So today I will be posting about one of my new favorite blushes and this is one from Shawill. This is basically my second blush that I got from their brand, the first one is also an orange shade which is the one that costs Phhp 99.00 and is a smaller one compared to this one. Anyway, this shade is in the Number 04. I've been loving orange blushes lately that's why I decided to purchase this. Idk, because for me the orange shade blushes actually have this glowy look on the cheeks.
Aside from the fact that I love the pigmentation of this one ( I will be showing you a swatch of it really soon :), I also love the packaging. It's made of plastic and is in the color black with some gold in it.
Also, this is how the box of it looks like. It's simple with some silver linings on it but I still find it cute and classy.
I find it very simple but classy as well. Once you open the compact, you will see the blush itself.
And then at the bottom, once you lift this up, you will find the mirror and a small blush brush for application. I am very pleased with that since you can just bring this anywhere and everything you need is within this blush compact.
Honestly, I am really impressed with how Shawill is stepping up their game in terms of their makeup products and the wide selection they have but still maintain the affordability.I have checked with other local drugstore makeup brands and none of them have orange shade blushes available that is why I am happy with how Shawill has this very wide selection of shades and makeup products in affordable sizes.
Price: Php 138.00
Net Wt. 4.4g
Its Claims:
The superfine particle without color block, natural charm color, velvet grain type even bestow on the face. Improve the skin color, newly build pink complexion, beautify the face outline and overflow natural charming cheek.
Ingredients:
Talc, Mica, SIO2,Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Paraffin Oil, Lanolin, Liposorb Sqo, Methyl Paraben, PropylParaben, Fragance, D&C Red 7 CA Lake, Iron Oxide Black, Ion Oxide Red, Iron Oxide Brown, Iron Oxide Yellow, FD&C Yellow 5 LA Lake.
So here is the swatch of the product. Aside from the fact that I like the color of the blush when in the packaging, I also love how pigmented this blush is with the color payoff.
Note: This is NOT a sponsored post. I purchased this product myself. Photos are mine unless stated otherwise.

What I like:
- Very affordable: Php 138.00
- Very accessible: Available in Shawill counters in SM Department Store- Beauty Department and in Watson.
- Packaging is very cute and classy.
- Pigmentation is very good.
- They have a wide variety of shades to choose from this makeup line (Vogue Noble Line)
- Longevity is very good. Lasts me a long day.
What I don't like:
- Packaging for all of their blush shades are all the same and the same as the sticker which states what number is for the specific shade is, so it can be confusing. I have to open the compact first to make sure I get the right shade I am buying.
REPURCHASE: YES!!
I will definitely purchase this once i run out this and I am considering purchasing more of their blushes. In fact, I am planning to complete all their blush products. (Blush addict here. LOL)
So there you have it, I hope you enjoyed reading this post and I was able to help you out if ever you are looking for this kind of blush shade and to check the quality of Shawill products. :)

What's In My MakeUp Kit?
Hey Loves!
So today, I figured out I will be sharing with you guys what I have in my makeup kit. This is the one I bring with me everywhere, either to work or when I am going somewhere else. So keep on reading. :)
Then on with lip products, first of course, I cannot go anywhere without lip balm. I really don't have chapped lips or dry lips, I just want to make sure I have this handy with me whenever I need it. This is also from Nichido, their Lip Blush which is a tinted lip balm. So at times when I don't feel like putting on lipstick, I put this on for a natural looking lip color.
So there you have it. That's all I have in my makeup kit. :) I hope you enjoyed reading this post. :) How about you, what do you have in your makeup kit? :) Feel free to share it with me in the comment area below. :)
So that's it for now. :) Feel free to follow me here in BlogSpot or in my Instagram: Yhang_Chua to be updated for my upcoming posts. :)
Xoxo,
Yhang
So today, I figured out I will be sharing with you guys what I have in my makeup kit. This is the one I bring with me everywhere, either to work or when I am going somewhere else. So keep on reading. :)
Okay, so let's start with my kit itself. This is something my late cousin gave me when she was still alive. So basically, it doesn't only serve as my makeup kit, it feels like whenever I bring this with me, I feel like I'm still bringing a part of her with me. It's just a simple violet pouch. She knows I love purple and anything related to that color that's why she gave this to me. Nothing fancy, just a simple pouch.
So let's get on with its contents. :)
I'd like to start with my compact powder. This is the Maybelline 2-way Cake Foundation compact. I've had this for years now and I've hit pan on this a lot of times already, but since I already have the compact itself, I just buy the refills. I apologize though for the wasted sponge LOL. Just shows how overused this is already haha! But of course, when I buy the refill and it already has a sponge included, I also replace the sponge.
Next is my blush. This one is from Nichido. Though I also have other blushes from different brands, this is the one I prefer to take with me. I have been using Nichido blushes since I was in college, and I can say that aside from the fact that their blushes are very affordable (this one costs only Php 88.00), the pigmentation and the quality of their blushes are very good. :) It gives that natural looking blush without looking like a clown LOL. I also have two other blushes from Nichido but this is the shade that I prefer to bring with me. I also included in this photo my retractable brush. I've also had this for years now and I just wash it from time to time. This one was given to me by my Mom years ago so I really don't know what brand this is.
Next are my eyeliners. If you have noticed, I'm a sucker for eyeliners, and if you have been following me on Instagram, you will see that I can't go anywhere without wearing an eyeliner. LOL. I always bring two: my gel-liner from FS and a liquid one from Nichido.
Another product I have for the eyes is this single eyeshadow from Essence Cosmetics. I prefer my eye makeup smokey or dark, that way it gives my chinita monolid eyes some depth. I do put on my eye makeup before going to work or if I'm going somewhere but I like having this handy especially if I feel the need to retouch the darker shade of my eyeshadow in the crease area. This is the Essence Metal Glam in the shade Choco Chic.
With lipsticks, these are what I bring with me. This is my holy grail- the Ever Bilena Magic Lipstick with Vitamin E. I have been using this for years now and I've also been through a lot of tubes of this. What I like about this is the color lasts me the whole day! :) and this only costs Php 85.00 in Watsons and in the SM Department Store- Beauty Section. This was something introduced to me by my former colleague in my previous company. I can wear this lip color alone or I dab a little before I put on my other lipstick. That way I am assured that once the lipstick fades of, I still have some lip color on. :)
The Lipsticks on the other hand are both from Aido. I do bring two shades, so as I can wear whatever I was in the mood to wear that day. I always have my brown shade which is the Aido Lipstick in Number 13, and the other one is the pinkish shade with a red undertone which is the one in Number 2.
For the brows, eversince I colored my hair ash blonde, of course I had to make sure that the colors of my brows will match the color of my hair. When I was still a brunette, I used the Shawill eyebrow pencil in 02. Now I have to get something which matches my hair color which is the Nichido Eyebrow Liner in the color Taupe.
And another thing I keep in my kit for my brows is the Marrionaud 2-sided brush. The other side has a spulley and the other side has a eyebrow powder applicator. This is what I bring with me to make sure that whenever I find the need to retouch my brows, I have this to help me make sure it looks natural and the color has been applied evenly. I am not sure though if Marrionaud still has this in the market since I've also had this for years now as well.
And the last item which I keep in my makeup kit which is not a makeup product is my contact lenses holder. Honestly, I don't know what they call this thing but I like calling it the house of my contacts LOL. Anyway, I am near sighted, and instead of wearing eyeglasses to work or when I go anywhere, I prefer to wear contact lenses so that it won't be a bother to me and I can wear my sunnies especially when I'm going home from work (I work the night shift) or if I'm going somewhere else during the day. Also, being able to wear contact lenses gives me the opportunity to wear my eye makeup. :) Because basically, I also have a pair of eyeglasses which I wear when I'm just at home or at times when I just have to run errands and I feel like since I am wearing my contacts daily, I need to give my eyes some rest from them.

Budget MakeUp Look: 500 Pesos Makeup Look
Hey Loves!
It's me again. I apologize for not being able to blog as much as possible as I have been very sick lately and have a lot of things going on especially for the past few days. I promised myself when I started this blog that I will post at least 2-3 times a week so as I can bring you more reviews and updates about my own discoveries and purchases of makeup. Anyway, I am very excited about this post as I have really made sure I was fully equipped in bringing you this makeup look.
I know a lot of our famous Filipina YouTubers have done this as the "500 Pesos Makeup Challenge," I actually got the idea from them and said to myself, "Why not do it as well- blog style?" So yeah, now I present to you my own version of my 500 Pesos MakeUp look.
I know makeup has been a rage especially nowadays that more and more Filipinas: both students and working professionals alike have been into and I want to give you all especially those who are still students and those who are on a budget something that may be of help.
The products I used were all bought and can be found and purchased in SM Department Stores nationwide and are also mostly local makeup brands. So, let's get into it. :) I will also be including the prices in the caption for each photo of the makeup products I will be showing below. :)
Here are the products I used:
For the whole face, I used this Careline BB Cream in the shade Nude, which is their lightest shade (I was supposed to get the Natural shade, however, when I swatched it, it was a bit too dark for me).
Careline BB Cream: Php 120.00
Nichido Eyeshadow and Blush Palette with free Lip Blush: Php 100.00
(Budget Pack)
Aido Budget Pack which includes a pencil eyeliner, compact powder and lipstick: Php 100.00
Essence Cosmetics Mascara: Php 100.00 (on sale)
TOTAL COST: Php 488.00 :)
Okay, so I used the Careline BB Cream for my whole face, then the Nichido eyeshadow palette for my eyeshadow. I then used the Nichido Liquid Eyeliner to line my upper lids to make my eyes look larger (and at the same time, I am someone who is so obssessed with eyeliners that I don't go out without any eyeliner LOL). Then for my brows, I used the Aido pencil eyeliner. For the blush, I used the one in the Nichido Eyeshadow Palette (I used the one on the left side since I wanted my blush to just be light and look at least a little bit natural :D) For the lips, to make sure my lips will stay moisturized, I used the Nichido Lip Blush- which is a tinted lip balm. And of course for some color on my lips I used the Aido Lipstick which was also included in the Aido Budget Pack. And lastly, for my eyelashes, I used the Essence Cosmetics Get Big Lashes Mascara. And of course, to set everything up, I used the Aido compact powder as my setting powder.
If you have been reading my previous posts, you will know that my go-to eye makeup is either just neutral browns or smokey. Though, for this one, I decided to do something different by doing something fresh and can be used for a daytime look. And this is the look I came up with:
So there you have it. I came up with this look as I wanted it to look fresh and basically something you can put for a daytime look. I wanted it to look natural and fresh. :)
If you have seen the total cost of these products, it only cost me Php 488.00 to be able to come up with this look. :) The Php 100.00 budget packs in Nichido and Aido are always available and I don't think they will have that taken away as whenever I pass by their counters, I always see them available and I see they always have a lot on stock. :) I really like how the Nichido palette- both the eyeshadows and the blushes are very pigmented, not something you can expect from a Php 100.00 budget pack but I can say that the quality of their palette is really good.
So anyway, I hope you liked the look I came up with and I hope this could be of help especially to those who are on a budget. I realized that you can really come up with a good look without spending too much and as well as not to sacrifice the quality of the products you buy. Of course, we don't want to ruin our skin with cheap and horrible makeup products just to look good. :)
That's it for now. I hope you like this post and if there are any products you want me to review, feel free to put them in the comment area below. Also don't forget to follow me here in Blogspot and in my Instagram account: Yhang_Chua to be updated for my future upcoming posts. :)

Review: Sassy Colors Blush in Creamy Cinnamon
Hi Loves!
So yeah, I will be doing my first review on one of my favorite drugstore blushes which is the one from a new brand named Sassy Colors. I've had this blush for a couple of months now and I can say it's one of my favorites! I have the shade in Creamy Cinnamon though they have 3 shades in total for this specific blush.
Aside from the fact that it is affordable, it is long lasting and even lasts me a whole day that even though I have to retouch with powder from time to time, the blush is still there. Amazing for a local makeup brand to have that type of longevity. It is very pigmented as well, a little goes a long way and a long time. :)
Here as some photos of me using the blush. Just to let you know, I didn't apply any primer or concealer and just used my trusty Maybelline Two-way Cake Powder Foundation which I have been using for years now as of course I wanted to focus on the blush itself. Haha
Once you buy the blush, it also comes with a small brush which you can also put in your makeup kit and can bring it anywhere. For the price of Php 139.00, you get 5g of the product. The packaging also is very handy and sleek and can perfectly fit in your makeup kit. What I don't like though is that it doesn't have a place where you can put the brush inside the packaging so technically, if you will be putting it in your makeup kit, the brush has to go somewhere separate inside your kit. Though for me, I always use a specific blush brush for that since I put on my makeup before going to work or going somewhere.
And this is the swatch of the product. It does have shimmer in it as well so you still get that radiant glow. And as you can see, it is very pigmented so apparently, you really need to be careful in applying the product so as you won't look like a tomato. Lol. But as i said, a little goes a long way. I have been using this everyday when I go to work and when going somewhere, so I can say I have been using this about 6-7days a week. I've had this blush for about a couple of months now and even haven't hit the pan yet. So it is so worth the money and I know this will last me for a couple more months. This has been my first purchase yet and I think I won't be needing to purchase another for a long time still.
What I like about this product:
- It is very affordable: only costs Php 139.00
- It is available in all SM Department Stores nationwide and in Watsons
- It is very pigmented
- Longevity is very good and lasts me for about 15hours a day. :)
- Repurchase? YES!!!
What I don't like about this product:
- It doesn't have place for the brush inside the packaging so there is a possibility you will loose it.
- This blush only comes in 3 shades: Creamy Cinnamon, Pretty in Pink and Blushing Berry:

Welcome to my Blog!
Hi Guys!
Welcome to my blog!!
For now, let me introduce myself. I am Yhang Chua from Manila, Philippines. 26 y/o and a self confessed makeup addict. Yes, you read that right. I have been a makeup lover since I was in HighSchool but has been loving it more for the past few months. I will be posting reviews of the makeup I have been using and will be trying on as well.
Please note though that some of my first posts may actually not have complete information like pictures of the products in their respective packaging or boxes since I will be posting first those that I already have and been using for quite some time now.
For now, I will be posting more about drugstore makeup and those you can find locally and mostly in department stores. I must admit that YouTube did influence me a lot in appreciating makeup more. Anyway, I prefer to be posting reviews about local and drugstore products since I decided that for high end makeup, we already find a lot of reviews about them in other blogs and as well as YouTube. I want to create a blog that will also help Filipinas out there who are in a budget to go get the right, affordable yet good quality makeup products there are in the market right now.
So for now, hope you would enjoy my blog and see you on my next posts! :)
Xoxo,
