First Impression Review: San San HD Foundation in Natural

Hey Loves!

So tonight will be about my first impression review about the San San HD Foundation in the shade Natural. I've also had this for quite some time now but never opened it in its packaging yet since I wanted to do a first impression review on this one first before actually using it. So let's get to it. :)

I actually also bought this in the HBC Store in Alabang beside South Station I bought my other San San products including the San San BB Cream (review can be read here) and as well as the San San Blush in Sweet Glow which I also made a review which you can check out here. Like I've said in my previous posts, there are no HBC branches or stores near the place that I live so whenever there is one I see, I immediately go and hoard HBC makeup products particularly San San makeup products. :)

Price: Php 205.00

Net Wt. 1.01 fl. oz/ 25mL

Its Claims:
- Has Vitamins A, C and E and SPF 30 for a healthier and naturally radiant skin
- Excellent coverage for skin imperfections
- Oil Free liquid foundation. Blends superbly with any color cosmetics for a picture-perfect look.

Caution:
Do not stay too long under the sun, even while using this product with sunscreen. Keep out of reach of children. For external use only.

Ingredients:

With the packaging, I find it cute since it is in my favorite color which is purple. The box is purple as well and the writings on it are silver. The bottle of the foundation itself is also made of glass with a metallic purple cover. Once you open the cap, the bottle has a pump so that you can control the amount of product you will be using.

First, the consistency, if you will look at the photo below, it does have a yellow undertone and has thick consistency which I like.

Okay, so to test the quality and as well as the longevity of this product, I applied it on my clean face. I don't have anything on. I just washed my face with my Celeteque Exfoliating Facial Scrub then applied my Celeteque Facial Moisturizer. I didn't apply any primer as I wanted to see the longevity of this product as is. So at exactly 04:13pm today, I applied this foundation on my face.

So if you notice, it has a medium- thick coverage since for only one layer of the product, it was already able to cover the visible veins in my cheeks. I also noticed that it gives a matte finish which I really like. What I noticed though when I was applying the product on my face, it dries like their BB Cream. So you already have to be fast in applying this all over your face to get an even coverage.

This is how it looks like after I put on my makeup and also applied a setting powder to set the foundation on my face.

I was just at home today but nevertheless I did a lot of things so I did some activities, making me perspire a little. After almost 5 hours of having this foundation on and without any retouching done, this is now how it looks like:

09:03pm MNL time:

Upon touching my face and if you will notice on the photo above, my face is already shiny and my T-zone is already oily. What I like though is that it's not that oily compared to how it usually is.

What I like:
- Very affordable, only Php 205.00 only.
- Has thick consistency and has a yellow undertone to it.
- Has medium to heavy coverage.
- Gives out a matte finish
- I find the packaging both the box and the bottle itself cute since it's in my favorite color. :)
- It has a pump so you can control the amount of product that you will be using.
- Though coverage is very good, it still feels lightweight on the face.
- Once you check the back of the box, it has all the info you will be needing like its claims, ingredients, manufacturing date, expiry date, location of manufacturing.

What I don't like:
- Easily dries out so you have to be fast in blending this all over your face to get an even coverage.

I think with this product, the matte finish it gives will actually last longer with a primer.

REPURCHASE: YES!!
Aside from the fact that it is very affordable, I love that it can give out medium to heavy coverage in only one layer of application of the product to the face. It does have thick consistency and gives out a matte finish. Though I really think the matte finish it gives out will last longer with primer.

Keep in mind though that we all have different skin types, so this product may work better with others than it worked for me or may not work with others well as it worked for me. Keep in mind to know your skin type first so as it will be easier and the effectivity of the product you will be purchasing will work well for you. :)

So that's it for now, I hope I was able to give you information about this product if you are thinking of buying one for yourself. My Night Facial Skin Care Routine

Hey Loves!

So today, I will be sharing with you guys my Night Facial Skin Care Routine. If you see in the photos above, I actually don't have an extensive routine before going to sleep. Just the right products to make sure that my face is clean and moisturized.

First of, is my facial wash. I use the Celeteque Exfoliating Facial Wash. This is the ones that have tiny beads on it. I actually prefer this over the other one which doesn't have the beads since I feel that exfoliating my face really takes off the dirt and oil that I have accumulated over the day. With that, I can avoid any break outs or pimples because of the remaining dirt or oil in my face. Take note that whenever we sleep, our pores are also taking a rest, so I make sure that I have a clean face before going to sleep otherwise, I will see a pimple or two the very next day when I wake up. I have been using this product for more than 10 years now actually. My skin is quite sensitive so I have to make sure I use the right and gentle yet effective products.

After washing and exfoliating my face, I then use a toner. This one is from Belo. I find that this is very effective as well. After cleaning my face, I put a generous amount on a cotton ball and wipe my face and neck with it. Toning actually removes all the other excess dirt or oil that the facial wash wasn't able to remove.

And of course, after toning, I have to moisturize my face to make sure it doesn't dry especially during the Ber months where it gets kinda cold so my skin actually tends to dry and flake out. I use the Celeteque Moisturizer with Triple Moisturizing Serum. Like I said earlier I have sensitive skin so basically using the right effective yet mild products are a must for me. Also, what I do, since I have combination skin where my T-zone gets oily, I don't apply any moisturizer in that area otherwise it becomes oilier. So I put this moisturizer on my face excluding my T-zone area. I also want to avoid wrinkles, which are prone for dry skin, so of course, making sure that my face is moisturized especially throughout the night and day can help me avoid having wrinkles early on.

After all that, I then put on my eye cream on my under eyes. I am using my Quick FX Eyelift Cream. I have actually included this product in my November 2015 favorites which you can read here. I have noticed that though I don't have dark under eyes, I have puffy under eyes which is quite bothering to me. I have been using this product for about 3 weeks now and I can see improvement.

Last, but not the least, of course, I do brush my teeth before going to sleep, and the way that I exfoliate my lips is actually brushing them mildly to remove any dead skin cells. To avoid my lips from drying especially nowadays that the weather is getting cold, I make sure to apply lip balm. This is actually just a transparent lip balm which I bought from Essence. I love though that this is just the usual lip balm, it keeps my lips moisturized. I find it very effective. I also love the fact that it does smell and actually even taste like candy. LOL

I also decided to include the makeup remover I have been using. Of course, sometimes, especially when it comes to eyeliners and mascaras, they don't totally come off when you wash your face. What I do is that before and after I wash my face, I use cotton buds or q-tips and cotton to remove my eyeliner and my mascara. I also do that after washing my face since most of the time, my eyeliner tends to stick around even after washing my face. I am using this Ever Bilena Advance MakeUp Remover which is very effective and affordable.

Okay, so that's it for now. I hope I was able to give you some information if you are also looking for affordable yet effective facial products. :) Feel free to comment down below what you're night skin care routine is or if you have any questions. :) You can also follow me here in BlogSpot and in BlogLovin.com to be updated with my new posts and product reviews. :) Follow me also in Instagram: @Yhang_Chua since I always keep my IG account updated with my new posts. :)

Review: San San Blush in Sweet Glow

Hey Loves!

So today, it will be about the San San Blush in the shade Sweet Glow. I've actually have this product for a while now but never gotten to review it until now. I also bought this in HBC near Alabang South Station the same time I bought my other San San and Allue products which I have already reviewed before.

Anyway, if you can see in the photo above, it is actually a bright pink shade. They have other shades of this same blush but decided to settle for this instead as I have figured out that I already have other shades of blushes from other brands but never had a shade like this. If you have been reading my previous posts especially those posted last month, I have been reviewing mostly blushes since I was into blushes that time.

Anyway, on with the review. I apologize though if I won't be able to show the box/ packaging of this one as I have thrown it away the same day I purchased this when I got home. My makeup drawer is quite getting full already so basically to save more space, I decided to throw away the box of this so I can properly keep this there and save more space. Anyway, what matters is the product itself right? :)

The packaging is actually made of transparent pink plastic with the San San logo in front of it. I like that it's small, perfect to fit in your makeup kit and that it's actually color pink. It doesn't have a brush included though.

Once you open the cover, this is how the product looks like:

I like the fact that there are little flowers embedded in the blush itself as I find it really cute. So at the back, it indicates the shade of the blush, the Net Wt, Ingredients, etc.

Price: Php 75.00

Net Wt. 0.13oz/ 3.9grams

Ingredients:
Talcum, Kaolin, Isopropyl Myristate, Magnesium Stearate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Octocrylene, Lanolin, Benzyl Alcohol, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinol (Vitamin A), Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), CI 15850, CI 45410, Fragrance

(I'm actually surprised and I like the fact that it doesn't have any PropylParaben and MethylParaben which are really common ingredients in almost all makeup products which are non-organic)

Exclusively Distributed by HBC

Made in Thailand

Okay so on with the swatch. What I really like about this blush aside from the cute packaging is that it is very pigmented so a little goes a long way.

So if you notice, it is very pigmented and has a lot of shimmer. So be careful in applying it since it is very pigmented, you may apply too much than needed, or if that happens, I find that it is very blendable as well so if you put too much, all you need is a blending brush to fix it all up.

What I like:
- Very affordable: Php 75.00
- Available in all HBC stores nationwide
- Very pigmented.
- Longevity is very good, like it lasts me the whole day
- According to the Ingredients stated at the back of its packaging, it doesn't have PropylParaben and MethylParaben
- I find the embedded flowers on the blush itself cute and classy.
- They have other shades for this blush.
- Packaging is small so you can easily tuck this in your makeup kit. Just be sure though you have a blush brush with you.

What I don't like:
- It does have so much shimmer that you really have to be careful in putting this on your cheeks.

REPURHASE: YES
Like I said, I love HBC products as well. I am planning to get more of the other shades of blushes and other San San producrs once I have the chance to go to an HBC branch since there is no HBC stores near the place I live.

So that's all for now. I hope I was able to provide you with some information if you are looking for affordable yet good quality makeup products specifically for blushes. HBC is one local store that offers a wide range of makeup and beauty products and San San and Allue are their top most brands. :)

Anyway, stay tuned for my upcoming posts since I have a long list of product reviews I will be posting about. Feel free to comment down below if you have other makeup products you would like me to review and if you also have this same product, feel free to share with me your experience on this. :) You can follow me here in BlogSpot, and even in BlogLovin.com to be updated with my future posts and product reviews. November 2015 MakeUp Favorites

Hey Loves!

I apologize if this post is a couple of days late as I was really busy for the past couple of days. My Fiance was sick for the past couple of days so I had to take good care of him, then I celebrated my birthday last December 1st so I had a simple dinner party with my family and friends.

So anyway, here are my favorite products for the month of November. :) If you notice on the photo above, I don't have much products to blog as my favorites for the past month since these are the few products I have been constantly using last month whenever I go out.

First and foremost, let's start with my favorite face product for the month of November which is the SanSan BB Cream in the shade Natural. I have actually done a review about this product which you can read here. I like that it provides medium to heavy coverage and it's very lightweight on the skin. Also, I like the longevity of this product as well especially in keeping my face matte especially in my T-zone area where I tend to be get easily oily. :) And of course, it's very affordable. :) Quality and the price of this product are both very great. :)

Next is this Quick FX Eyelift Cream. Fortunately, I don't have dark under eye circles but my under eyes tend to be really puffy especially when I lack sleep which I think is usual. So anyway, since I find that their Quick FX Mattifier primer is really effective, I decided to try their eyelift cream. This only costs Php 49.00 which is very affordable. I put this on my under eyes when I wake up and of course after washing my face and going to sleep at night. So far, I can see some improvement as my under eyes aren't that puffy like they used to be. :)

On with the blush, for last month, I found myself using this more often as it gives a natural blush on the cheeks. It does have shimmer in it, but the pigmentation and longevity is very good. This is also another HBC product. I also made a separate review about this blush which you can also read here.

So on with the lip products, if you have been following me on Instagram and have been reading my preview posts, especially for the month of October, you will notice that I have been very fond of blushes that's why I most of the reviews I have been posting before are more of blushes. However, I discovered last month that I am a little over my blush addiction and is now getting addicted in lipsticks instead. I have bought quite a few lipsticks last month but these three are my top favorites:

This is the Ever Bilena Lipstick in the shade Dazzling Orchid. If you check the swatch on the photo, it is actually a dark purple shade which I really love. Aside from Nude and Neutral lip shades, I have been into dark lipsticks as well and this one is my top favorite. I haven't done a review about this yet but of course I am planning to do so once I get to purchase the other shades in this line so as I can do a more in-depth review on this. :) Quality and longevity of this is very good and can last me about 4-5hours without retouching. Pigmentation is awesome since with only one swipe on the lips the color is already great. Aside from that, they also have a variety of shades from this lipstick line. They are also very affordable for only Php95.00 each. :)

And the my next favorite lipstick is this one from Maybelline which is from their ColorShow Line and this is in the shade Barely Nude. This is actually a matte color and I love the pigmentation and the shade of this. I actually use this when I go out during daytime since it just gives this natural look. I actually have a couple more lipsticks I purchased from their ColorShow Line but I haven't actually done a review on these lipsticks yet since I plan on getting more so as I can add more to my lipstick collection and as well as so as I can make a more in depth review on these babies. :) They have a wide variety of shades on these lippies and they are very affordable too! Regular price is Php165.00 each but for now since Maybelline is having a grand sale until December 31, 2015 in all their products, these lippies from their ColorShow line can be purchased for only Php150.00 each so you actually get Php15.00 discount on these. :)

Last but not the least, if I have dark and nude favorite lip shade favorites, I also have a pink one. :) This is from Aido which is in the shade Letter Q. I actually have quite a few Aido lipsticks since I find them very affordable, they have a wide variety of shades and the pigmentation and longevity of these lippies are very good. I actually have done a review on my first Aido lippies long ago which you can check out here. I will be doing an updated Aido Lipstick review soon since I have purchased a few more shades from them so stay tuned for that. :)

Okay, so that's all for now. I hope you enjoyed reading this post and also found this post very helpful. Please stay tuned for my upcoming blog posts and product reviews as I have a quite a ton of product reviews on my list now which I will be blogging about. :)

If you have any questions about the products I posted above or if you have any feedback or product review requests, feel free to comment down below so I can go check it out. :) You can also follow me here in BlogSpot.com and in BlogLovin.com to be updated with my upcoming product reviews and posts. :) Feel free also to follow me in Instagram: @Yhang_Chua since I always keep my IG account updated with my current and upcoming posts. :)
